Tonga Education Support Activity (TESA) is a partnership between the Ministry of Education and Training (MET) and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade designed to make significant improvements to literacy and numeracy outcomes of primary school children in Tonga.

Focused on Māori student achievement, we bring Pāngarau to life with multimedia courses backed by evidence-based research including best practice from Te Puna Wānanga.

We can support you with bespoke PLD to implement culturally sustaining practices that support all ākonga to live by their cultural heritage and identity.

Out-of-class learning project - Excursion to the historical site of Puhoi village

This workshop is designed as a support for beginning teachers of French (first and second year).

This online workshop is designed to provide support for teachers of French who have students enrolled in the New Zealand Scholarship French examination (NZQA Standard 93004). Participation in the workshop is strongly encouraged, so please come prepared to share any resources or revision techniques that you think would be useful to others.

Hangarau Matihiko supports teachers, kaiako, ākonga and students to confidently and effectively use digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
