Overview

Living far from Spanish-speaking countries can make it challenging to keep language skills and cultural knowledge fresh and relevant. The Salamanca immersion programme offers participants a chance to not only enhance their Spanish language abilities but also deeply engage with Spain’s rich cultural heritage. By experiencing the history, traditions, and contemporary life of Salamanca and its surroundings, participants will gain valuable insights into Spanish culture that can directly enrich their teaching. This immersive experience will reignite participants' passion for Spanish, motivate them with new ideas, and empower them to bring more authentic, culturally rich learning experiences back to students in Aotearoa, leading to better outcomes in the classroom.
