Overview

This online workshop is designed to strengthen the Spanish teachers community with an informal monthly meeting and to promote the creation of a shared repository. Participants will have the opportunity to share their best practices with other teachers, exchanging the teaching and learning strategies and techniques that have worked best in their classrooms. At the same time, it provides a relaxed opportunity to speak in Spanish and share ideas and solutions to make their classes more fun and dynamic.

When: 4.30 - 5.15 pm Wednesday 09 April 2025

Where: Online - A zoom link will be sent to registered participants.

Registrations open on 19 March and close on 7 April 2025.

What we will cover

Participants will be guided through the process of reflecting on their teaching strategies, evaluating them, and sharing their best practices.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Reflect on the effectiveness of their practices
  • Discuss and share ideas for motivating students with fellow Spanish teachers
  • Create a learning community and a shared repository for best practices
  • Connect with other Spanish teachers and practise speaking Spanish.

Tui Tuia | Learning Circle Languages is funded to provide professional learning for provisionally andfully registered Primary, Intermediate and Secondary teachers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
