Overview

The online resource-sharing workshop, facilitated monthly by our Chinese National Language Adviser, offers a valuable platform for Chinese language teachers in New Zealand to connect, collaborate, and enhance their teaching practices. Each month, participants are encouraged to bring their teaching materials to share and gain fresh resources and ideas from one another.

When: 4 February 2025, 4-5pm

Where: Online – Zoom link will be provided once registrations are accepted.  

Registrations open on 13 January and close on 3 February 2025. 

What we will cover

For our first workshop of the new year on 6 February, we encourage participants to bring their Chinese New Year classroom activities to share and gain fresh resources and ideas from one another. This interactive online workshop fosters a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth among Chinese language teachers.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Share their teaching resources and activity ideas with fellow teachers
  • Discuss ideas for possible adaptations to enhance their teaching practices
  • Take away teaching resources and activity ideas shared by fellow teachers

Tui Tuia | Learning Circle Languages is funded to provide professional learning for provisionally and fully registered Primary, Intermediate and Secondary teachers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
