Overview

Have you tasted a Bougna or heard about it during your visit to New Caledonia? Discover the art of preparing this traditional dish in our online workshop. You'll learn all the French vocabulary needed to guide your students in making Bougna, blending language learning with cultural exploration. We'll also provide you with a variety of resources, ready to enrich your teaching practice and bring the flavours of New Caledonia to your classroom.

When: 4.30pm to 5.15pm, Thursday 19th September 2024

Where: Online - Zoom link will be provided to registered participants.

Registrations open on 2nd September and close on 15 September 2024

What we will cover

During this online workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the cultural significance of Bougna in New Caledonian cuisine
  • Identify the key ingredients used in making Bougna
  • Master the step-by-step process of preparing Bougna in French.
